1. About Us

The 50/50 Club is operated by The 50/50 Club Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). For data protection purposes, we are the data controller. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter any game. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally permitted to participate in competitive skill-based games in your jurisdiction.

3. How The Game Works

The 50/50 Club is a competitive elimination arena. Every round, players face a skill-based challenge — trivia, memory, reactions, puzzles, and more. Players who answer correctly or perform best advance; those who don't are eliminated. If fewer than 50% of players answer correctly in a quiz round, only those who answered correctly advance — there is no random selection or luck element. Performance alone determines advancement. The final is a "Race to N" quiz showdown. One ticket per player per game.

4. Ticket Purchases

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Each participant is limited to one ticket per game. Tickets are non-transferable. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase if the game has not yet started, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

5. Challenges & Scoring

Challenges include trivia questions, memory games, reaction tests, word puzzles, pattern sequences, and more. All challenges are the same for every player in a given round. Scoring is based on accuracy and speed. Results are final and determined solely by player performance — no random selection or chance-based mechanics are used in any elimination round.

6. Fair Play

All players face identical challenges on a level playing field. Any attempt to cheat, use automated tools, or exploit the system will result in immediate disqualification and account suspension. We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity. Results are verified and final.

7. Prizes

Prizes are described on each game's page. Winners are contacted via email and announced on the platform. We arrange delivery for physical prizes or bank transfer for cash prizes. Prize values are approximate and may vary. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification.

8. Free Postal Entry

No purchase is necessary to enter any game. A free postal entry route is available for all games as an alternative to purchasing a ticket online.

  • One free postal entry per person per game.
  • Entries must be received before the game closes for ticket sales.
  • Free entrants are entered into the game on identical terms to paid participants.
  • Free entrants must have or create an account using the email address provided.
  • We are not responsible for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in the post.

9. Subscriptions

The Practice Arena offers subscription tiers (Arena Plus, Arena Pro, Arena Elite) on monthly or annual billing cycles. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your Stripe billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are given for mid-cycle cancellations.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price changes take effect.

10. Club Shop

The 50/50 Club Shop allows members to redeem earned credits for exclusive merchandise. By placing an order, you agree to the following:

  • Credit redemption: Shop credits are earned through competition prizes, leaderboard rewards, and promotional offers. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Credits may expire as detailed in your account — expiry dates are shown on your profile.
  • Orders: When you place an order, credits are deducted immediately. All credit-based orders are final and non-refundable, except where goods are faulty, not as described, or do not arrive, in which case your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full.
  • Delivery: We aim to fulfil orders within 14–28 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on the item and fulfilment method. We will provide updates via email where possible. Delivery is to UK addresses only unless otherwise stated.
  • Faulty or incorrect items: If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or materially different from the listing, contact us within 30 days at [email protected] and we will arrange a replacement or credit your account.
  • Exclusive items: Certain items marked "Winners Only" or "Credit Only" are exclusively available through credit redemption and cannot be purchased with money. Availability may be limited.
  • Personal data: Your delivery name, address, and phone number are collected solely for order fulfilment and may be shared with our fulfilment partners as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Stock & availability: All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw products from the shop at any time. If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will credit your account with the full credit value.

11. Your Data & Privacy

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy.

By creating an account, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and to exercise your rights under UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
